Non-profit Yoga classes designed for Tango dancers led/ Host by Irina.
Irina is a qualified Vinyasa Flow Yoga instructor, specialising in developing movement, flexibility and strength. Irina will offer yoga classes to help tango dancers develop strength, balance, flexibility, and mobility. Knowledge of breathing for movement is an important part of the class: how it can be applied to your dance so you can improve your Argentinian Tango technique, posture and embrace, ankle stability, dissociation/torsion and connection with your dance partner.
Her teaching is inclusive and practical to our modern lives and bodies; making yoga accessible to everyone.
With over 7+ years of working as a body worker and a remedial massage therapist, Irina is beyond thrilled to lead you through intelligent and purposeful sequences that bring her wisdom of yoga together with a comprehensive understanding of the body, anatomy and breath. Irina is passionate about helping people to reconnect back to their innate ability to move and dance with freedom.
Irina creates a safe, warm, inviting space for you to grow, find balance and develop awareness in your practice and tango dance. She will inspire you to have fun, find strength and contentment. Expect to challenge yourself, push physical boundaries, or find presence and calm mind while connecting to your breath.
