Evolution of Tango Music: the Orchestras seminar.This Seminar is in two parts spread over two days.

Seminar 2 Saturday 10th September (10:00- 14:30): We are going to analyse the big four orchestras (D'Arienzo vs Di Sarli and Troilo vs Pugliese) and try to understand the tango sound and why each is so different. How much their personality had influence in the music and how you can express yourself in each of them in a different way. At the end of this day will have no problem recognising these most important and influential tango orchestras.

Seminar 2 Sunday 11th September (10:00 - 14:30): Today we will look at the evolution of the tango music, including orchestras you might have never heard but are part of building the future. How did we arrive at Astor Piazzolla and what was the phenomenon of Tango Nuevo
