Make 'em Dance
Tango Games 1: This is a group activity that focuses on different aspects of musicality. Each night will be different and independent of the previous night. Murat is known for his unique and inclusive style in teaching musicality – expect call and response, body percussion which stimulates awareness of the body, and control of movement coordination and balance. We will practice beat and rhythm at the same time. Will he bring his guitar?
Tango games does not require a leader/follower balance.
Who is Murat Erdemsel?
Starting his tango journey in Istanbul in 1997, Murat is known for his flair and musicality and has become a tango visionary on the world stage with an insightful, thorough, and analytical understanding of the dance. Murat’s background in fine arts and music provides him with the perfect blend of senses for the movement of bodies through time and space. This will be a stimulating, thought provoking and wonderful tango experience when Murat Erdemsel visits us again in 20-21-22 (Tue/Wed/Thu) September 2022.
Murat’s teaching philosophy is to offer students valuable tools to enable them to take control of their own personal growth. He is warm, attentive, entertaining, and accessible to students. He successfully combines technical and sensory exercises with fundamental concepts that lead to all the challenging possibilities of improvisation and expression.
