Rina and Nadim Workshops

Rina and Nadim Sawaya, directors of Tango Esencia in Richmond, Melbourne, are returning to Perth for an exciting weekend of tango workshops and milongas!
They are runner-ups of the Oceania Tango Championships Pista Category 2024 in Auckland, New Zealand, and finalists in the Asian Tango Championships in 2016 & 2019.
Rina's early training in various dance genres such as classical ballet, combined with Nadim's musical prowess as a cellist and popular Tango DJ, forms a dynamic teaching partnership. Their teaching style is praised for its simplicity, making complex techniques accessible, while their performances showcase both beauty and technical precision.
