WS1: SACADAS – Dynamic Displacements for Both Roles (11:00-12:30) $45. (2 leader slots & couples only)

In this workshop, you’ll learn how to give and receive sacadas with clarity, control, and connection—whether you lead or follow. Walk away with moves that feel great to dance and look effortlessly elegant on the social floor.
WS2: VALS – Circular Motion in Small Spaces (13:00-14:30) $45 (Open for couples only)
Step into the rhythm of tango vals with graceful, flowing movement that fits the ronda. This workshop will show you how to dance in circles, navigate tight spaces, and use musical phrasing to add lightness and lift to your dance. Ideal for both roles, it’s all about feeling the swirl — even when space is tight.
WS3: THE SILENT CONVERSATION – Smart Strategies for Social Dancing (14:45-16:15) $45 (2 leaders & couples only)
Tango is a conversation without words, where every movement speaks. In this workshop, you’ll learn how to navigate the dance floor with ease, adapting to tight spaces without losing expression or musicality. Whether you're leading or following, we’ll focus on strategies to keep your dance clear, connected, and flowing, so you can move through crowded milongas, local, interstate, or international, with confidence and grace
Sunset Milonga
After a day of workshops, join us at TangoSpace from 7 to 10 PM for a magical evening by the Swan River. Enjoy stunning sunset views and city lights while connecting more intimately with Bruno and Rocio in one of Perth's most beautiful milonga settings. DJ Leanne will be spinning an amazing set for us. WS4: DELAYED MOVES – Mastering Time & Lead Follow Dynamics (11:00-12:30) $45 (4 leaders & couples only)
Add depth and intrigue to your dance by playing with time. In this workshop, you’ll explore how to delay, suspend, and layer movement—leading without stepping and stepping without leading. Perfect for dancers in both roles, it opens up a world of subtle communication, creative timing, and beautifully textured improvisation.
SEMINAR: Musicality & Co-Creation – Dancing in Dialogue (13:00-16:15) $80 (6 leader slots & couples only)
Tango is not just a series of steps; it’s an evolving conversation with your partner. This two-session seminar will help you unlock the art of co creating a dynamic, musical dialogue, transforming each dance into a shared masterpiece. Through refined technique, musical interpretation, and creative challenges, you’ll deepen your connection and enhance your sensitivity to the music, allowing you to move with greater expression and flow. Elevate your tango by learning how to listen, respond, and create together in perfect harmony.
Gala Milonga
Don’t miss the Gala Milonga on Sunday at the Perth Tango Club Hall, 7 to 11 PM, featuring a stunning performance by world-renowned maestros Bruno and Rocio, showcasing the techniques and wisdom shared in their workshops. A must-attend event! DJ TBA will set the mood for an unforgettable night. (Entry $25, non-members $30).
Refunds and cancellations:
- Cancellations will be refunded fully, minus $2.5 transaction fee.
- Cancellations on the day are not refundable.
- PTC reserves the right to cancel the event at any time (in part or in full) and provide the purchaser of this ticket with a full (or pro rata) refund minus costs of transaction processing. This refund will only cover the price paid for the ticket and no other costs incurred by the client.
