Practica Nueva is open every 2nd Sunday of the month (7-9pm) and creates space for dancers to explore their tango with music from the 50s-70s.

In this period, orchestras were experimenting with singers and instruments, resulting in a rich blend of rhythm and melody. These tangos will inspire a variety of tango styles whether it is just tango basics, complex nuevo moves, or simply a moment or two of romantic bliss.

Practica Nueva’s playlist will contain ca 70% of 50s-70s music along with some modern tango tracks and late Golden Age favourites. To assist dancers with expression of the Silk Age music, teachers and experienced dancers will be invited to share their skills with everybody attending the Practica Nueva.
